Level 1 CGS Atrium will be for children aged 3 through Kindergarten.
Level 2 CGS Atrium will be for children in 1st through 3rd grades.
Older Grades (4th - 8th) use the Faith and Life curriculum.
All grades will meet on Monday evenings from 6:00-7:30pm. Classes begin on September 19th.
Spaces in the Level 1 and Level 2 Atrium classes are limited, and registration does not guarantee your child a spot. However, we appreciate your interest and will try to accommodate as many children as possible. If the Level 2 Atrium class fills up, 3rd graders may be promoted to join the older grades.
What is the Cost for the 2022-2023 School year? Grades PreK - 3rd, CGS: $350
Grades 4th - 8th: $50
Active parishioners of St. Jerome's will receive a 50% discount.

Religious Education at St. Jerome’s The Religious Education program is provided for children in grades preK through eight who are attending public and non-Catholic schools, or who are home-schooled. They are instructed about their Catholic faith on Monday evenings during the school year from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the church or school building.
This year, we are offering a Level I Atrium session for children aged three (must be three by the end of October) through Kindergarten, and a Level II Atrium session for children in 1st through 3rd grades. Both Level I and Level II will be offered on Mondays* from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Teresa Bippus will be the catechist for Level I. Stephanie Hanby and Mary Pat Pollock will be the catechists for Level II. Atrium class sizes are limited.
The Religious Education Program provides assistance and support to parents in preparing children for the reception of the sacraments of Penance, Holy Eucharist and Confirmation, as well as ongoing Christian formation. Children ages 8 and older who are coming into the Church enter an RCIA program for children.
What is Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (also called “CGS” or “Atrium”)? The Atrium is a beautiful space prepared for children where contemplation and wonder are at the heart. The Atrium offers the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd ( see brief video), a Catholic Montessori religious education program founded on the Scriptures and the Liturgy of the Church. Through hands-on work and joyful contemplation, the children are invited to nourish their relationship with Jesus and to deepen their love for His Church.
