St. Jerome's welcomes the Nigerian Community of the Archdiocese of Washington!
Fr. Charles Edeh, Nigerian Community chaplain, celebrates the 12:30PM Sunday Mass. All are welcome!
The love between Christ and his Church, between the Bridegroom and his Bride--and the fruitfulness that springs from that love--is experienced most personally within the first "cell of communion" at St. Jerome's: each parish family.
Visit our Resources page for helpful links.
The life of communion lived together at St. Jerome's offers each parishioner an experience of the Lord's hospitality of the heart.
Sunday Fellowship: Join us after the 8:30AM and 10:30AM Masses in the Gold Room for coffee and donuts. It is good to gather and welcome new friends and greet old friends on Sunday morning. Volunteers are always needed to help set up for fellowship and clean up. It will only take a minute or two...thanks in advance for your help!
Feed the Turtle! St. Jerome's occasionally provides a Wednesday night meal to students at University of Maryland's Catholic Student Center. Watch the bulletin and this space for upcoming dates. Thanks to all who nurture our Catholic neighbors and perform this corporal work of mercy!
Sports provide St. Jerome's young people and their families the opportunity to pursue authentic teamwork, competition and fair play.
All young people in the parish ages 6-14 are encouraged to participate in soccer, cross country, basketball, softball, baseball, t-ball and track and field. Parent coaches and volunteers are needed, too!
Enter the CYO website here for information on upcoming activities and game times.
In an economic environment that often promotes individualism and competition, the Knights of Columbus offers practicing Catholic men a counter-cultural experience: a fraternal brotherhood that is foundational for a secure life.
St. Jerome's is blessed to have the presence of Knight’s of Columbus Council 5564. Knights and their families are welcome collaborators in many local works of the parish, Archdiocese and surrounding community.
Men of the parish 18+ years of age may learn more by emailing our Membership Director, Tony Pauletti or calling him at 301-742-7296.
Calling all knitters! The St Jerome's Boutique is welcoming new members of all ages to join this fun filled sewing group. The Boutique meets each Monday at 10am in the Rectory Meeting Room- members are welcome even if you're not available for this weekly group. The Boutique's projects and crafts go to benefit St Jerome Church directly through the sale/raffle of their knitted items and they also provide donations to others in need.

United with the presence of Jesus, St. Jerome parishioners bring a new way of living human life to the local community. As witnesses to this life, we can show what is possible through our shared companionship.
