You're Invited to SJA Montessori Event
St. Jerome Academy will hold an informational evening to introduce its new Children's House on Wednesday, March 13, at 7 p.m. The Children's House will open this fall and will include part-time classes for toddlers (ages 18-30 months) and half-day and full-day classes for preschoolers (ages 30 months through 4 years).

Learn the answers to these questions, and more:

  • What is Montessori education?
  • How is it being implemented at St. Jerome Academy?
  • What is the Atrium and why is it being included in SJA's program?
  • How will Montessori education be integrated with SJA's Classical elementary and middle school?

The evening presentation will be held in the school library and in an adjacent room currently being renovated as a Montessori classroom. Recently hired, AMI-certified teachers, as well as school administrators and representatives from the school’s Montessori Development Committee will be on hand to provide information about the new programs’ philosophy and methods and to answer questions.

Refreshments will be served and free childcare will be available. Park on 42nd Place or in any of the parking lots adjacent to the school or the church, and enter either through the main entrance at 5207 42nd Place or the dining hall entrance under the gymnasium at the school parking lot.

Please contact Chris Currie at ccurrie@stjeromes.org or 301-633-4439 (mobile) for more information.
