 St. Jerome Coaches, Assistants, Volunteers...Important Information

 Sister Joyce and Ms. Donoghue asked us to pass this very important information along to you. The Archdiocese of Washington is really cracking down on the following... Each volunteer must be FINGERPRINTED through the Archdiocese of Washington. Must read a brochure, sign the back sheet (the sheet needs to be turned in too), and attend the Protecting God's Children Workshop to be cleared. You must have ALL three aspects completed in order to work in the schools, volunteer or coach/assist with the CYO teams.

This policy has not been enforced completely but there is an audit going on right now and there is a master list of everyone who is in compliance. We have less than 25% of our coaches in compliance. We need to get this taken care of asap.

You may pick up a form for finger printing in the school office from 7:00am until 6:00pm Mon-Fri through the first week Aug. The fee for fingerprinting is $36 at the Pastoral Center. You will then need to go on the Archdiocese of Washington web site www.adw.org to set up an appointment to have fingerprints done and to attend the workshop. Please take care of this soon because the finger print process takes several weeks. We will be unable to allow you to coach or volunteer unless you have received your clearance and are in 100% compliance.
