Each music ministry's role is to provide musical leadership and support for the congregation's worship and to enable the congregation to fully participate in sung prayer at Mass. To sing in any of the groups, it is not necessary to know how to read music or to have had any special training in music. These skills can be learned. What is needed is a love for music and a spirit of service.
Choir: St. Jerome's Choir sings at the 11:30 AM mass each Sunday from September to June. The Choir practices on Thursday evening, starting at 7:30 PM in the choir loft of the church. New members are always welcome. For additional information please contact Robert Minaert at 301-699-1436.

Saturday Afternoon Music Ministry: The members of the Music Ministry lead the singing on Saturday afternoon liturgy.
