RELIGION: This week we will be learning about some of the
parables that Jesus told. The children
will complete page 86 in their religion workbooks.
PHONICS: This week we will be learning about the
letter Y. We will also review the
letters G through L and complete pages 47 and 48 in our phonics workbooks. We
will also be practicing our nursery rhymes.
HANDWRITING: This week the children will continue to use
their handwriting books.
MATH: This week we will learn about comparing position
(first, last, and middle). The children
will complete pages 31 and 32 in their math workbooks.
SCIENCE: We will
continue to observe the growth of our tadpoles and butterflies. After we watch
our butterflies for a few days, we will release them outside so they can enjoy
the beautiful world God has made. We
will also learn about birds this week.
MUSIC: We will continue to learn songs from Ella Jenkins, Hap
Palmer, and Greg and Steve. The children
will enjoy playing instruments.
ART: The children will be sponge painting with alphabet
sponges. The children will also enjoy
painting on the easel, and coloring with markers.
GYM: The children will have gym class on Wednesday
and Friday. Please be sure they wear
athletic shoes on those days.
LIBRARY/COMPUTER: The children will have
library/computer on Monday.
PLEASE BE SURE YOUR CHILD’S NAME IS ON
HIS/HER COAT, HAT, MITTENS, LUNCHBOX OR ANYTHING THEY BRING TO SCHOOL.
PLEASE BRING A LUNCHBOX TO SCHOOL EVEN
ON HOT LUNCH DAYS. WE USE THE LUNCHBOX
TO SEND HOME NOTES.

FAIR.
